Cx Timeline
Our Cx timeline is dependent on construction, but we ask questions to make sure necessary coordination is happening to meet milestones.

Our work starts as soon as we are hired and continues through the warranty phase.

While we would ideally perform functional testing after all other work is completed and prior to occupancy, we recognize that this is not always feasible. We are flexible: completing prefunctional checks during construction and functional tests during occupancy if needed.

Our checks and tests are dependent on other trades completing their work. During construction, we are on the look-out for places where time could be saved, or where something might delay work. Our ongoing prefunctional checks mean we can address issues while trades are still on-site, so corrections can be made quickly and without the additional cost of call-backs. Things we look for during prefunctional checks include:

Adherence to design intent.

Service clearances and accessibility.

Anything that would affect performance and commissionability, such as excessive bends in ductwork near a piece of equipment which would cause excessive pressure drop, turbulence, and noise.

We are a small, nimble team, so modifying our schedule to accommodate the Owner, contractors, and designers is easy. While we are working on multiple projects at any given time, most are local — we are able to simply get where we need to go when we are needed.

Our schedule or availability will NEVER hold up any aspect of the project.
